God has anointed Bishop Poole to reach the unreachable, love the unlovable, and bring about racial harmony. His goal in life is to impact the nations for Jesus Christ. In 2001, with this agenda in his heart, Bishop Poole gave birth to this evangelistic outreach called "Smooth Stone Ministries". Smooth Stone is a ministry outreach and fellowship to other ministries locally and around the world.

Bishop Poole's Bio

Bishop Jeff Poole was born December 14, 1959 in Warner Robins, Georgia. He spent his childhood and teenage years Warner Robins, developing a background of drugs and alcohol abuse. God quietly had a hand and a call on his life. After all the abuse, addictions, and near fatal accidents, God allowed Bishop Poole to meet and marry the "love of his life", Pastor Lisa. They married in 1979 and relocated to Panama City, Florida. While in Florida, they experienced a "real" encounter with God and were saved. Because of Bishop Poole’s history, God had planted a burning desire in his heart to see the hurting and the addict set free and delivered.

Bishop Poole serves as Senior Pastor of New Hope International. The church began in 1987 with 25 members, and today is running a membership of approximately 1700. He has both a passion and a burden for the lost. The vision of this ministry and his life is founded on Luke 4:18-19, "Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted and to set the captives free."

To accomplish this vision, Bishop Poole preaches both locally and nationally and he can also be seen locally on cable television, internationally at www.streamingfaith.com and heard internationally on short wave radio. He has developed an ongoing street ministry to reach those that may not otherwise come into a church.

Bishop Poole and Pastor Lisa have three wonderful children; Jacob, Jordan and Hannah.

Equipped with the "Word of God" in his hand, and his heart, Bishop Poole has answered the mighty call that God has placed on his life, and truly stands on the forefront of the battlefield, eagerly winning the lost souls for the Kingdom.
